TRAVELLING TO AND FROM LIVERPOOL AIRPORT

The most convenient option is the Arriva 500 bus service, which runs frequently, usually every 30 minutes, between Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Liverpool ONE bus station in the city centre. The journey typically takes around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The Bus departs from stand 3 in front of the exit of Arrivals terminal. The 500 bus costs £2.30 one way.

Taxis are readily available outside the airport terminal. They provide a convenient and direct way to reach the city centre. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. A taxi will typically cost between £40 and £50.

The nearest train station to Liverpool Airport is Liverpool South Parkway, which is about 3 miles away. You can take the 500 bus service from the airport to Liverpool South Parkway station, which takes around 10 minutes. From there, you can catch a train to Liverpool Lime Street Station, which is the main station in the city centre. The train journey takes about 15 minutes. While rail is not the quickest way to the city centre, it may be a good option if you are travelling onwards further by train.
